Dear Sir

The estimates on Fencing
the Chant Lot are as follows.

Taking down 395 ft across the Watriss Lot & putting up 277
feet across the Chant Lot to the Catholic Cemetery	$264.50
Putting up what remains along the line of the
Chant Lot & Catholic Cemetery	95.45
Completing the remaining portion in line of Chant
Lot & Catholic Cemetery to the stockade fence	650.90
Making a total cost for fencing two sides of the
Chant Lot of	$1010.85

Where we come to use the Chant Lot, I think the
grade will have to be several feet higher than at present;
if we set the fence higher now, the posts must be replaced by
larger ones, which will increase cost, wherease if we grade
first the present posts will answer.

As to cost of grading, sodding, & completing the bank
in rear of Fountain Ave between the Clark Lot & the
stonewall (inclusive) I will place the estimated cost
at $3500 and save if I can, tho' on the whole I doubt
if it will be possible.
