Dear Sir

Our instructions from
you last spring were to spend $8.00
on your lot no 2045 - $5 for keeping
the lot cleaned up & the grass cut
and $3.00 for flowers, which has
been done, and we have since
an order to top dress the lot this
fall^ ^{(at $4)} which will be done very soon.

It is possible you may have written
to my predecessor Col. Folsom to
expend the $15, but I find no letters
on file from you except the reasons
for the amount above mentioned &
for these charges the lot has rec^d a fair equiv-
alent.
