Moses A. Dow Esq

Dear Sir

I have your favor of
In regard to price for perpetual care, I can
not tell exactly the price until I know how
you propose to finish the lot. If I remember
correctly you propose to curb it. The sum
necessary to keep it in repair forever, would
be a sum the interest of which would pay for
the average annual expense, including replacing
the monument & curb when needed. As I do not
know exactly how our propose to complete the
lot, I can only give an approximate estimate & in
fact the price is fixed by the Board of Trustees.

I should estimate the necessary sum to keep monument
curb, sod, plants &c in complete order at about $800 or $850.
(You can deposit any sum "in trust"
with the corporation & they will expense
income)

Yours respectfully
J.W. Lovering Supt
