Joseph Collins Esq
Gardener

I desire to call your attention to the follow-
ing points which I wish you would see that all
men under your charge observe.

1. There is to be no smoking in the Cemetery.

2. No man must enter or leave the Cemetery except by gates.

3. You will allow no man to leave a substitute, when about,
nor allow him for any time he is not actually here without my
written consent.

4. See that the men close and fasten the gate on all fence
lots where they work and that they do not leave tools, clothes,
or dinner pails about the ground, nor eat their dinners on the
lots or ornamental grounds, especially about the gate.

5. No tools, horse carts or other property of the corporation are
to be loaned, or used except for corporation work, or taken
from the grounds except for corporation work under any circum-
stances. I consider you responsible for the white horse & cart
^at all times for any other horse & cart while in your employ.
Have tools well put away every Saturday night.

Yours truly
J.W. Lovering Supt.
