Mason & Buffum

Gentlemen,

When you were
paid for putting a striker upon the Bell
here, you stated , that, if everything was not
satisfactory you would make it so on being
notified.

The striker is not now, nor has, it ever
been what we were justified in expecting for
the money.

You have been notified by the facts in
the case a number of time without result.

You will oblige me by giving this matter
immediate attention without causing us
further trouble.

Very Respectfully
Jas. W. Lovering Sup.t
