Sam.l Batchelder Jr. Esq
Secy.&c.

Dear Sir

I have your favor of June 9th
in regards to photographs by Mr Black.

As I understand, the person who represents Mr Black
wants not only the lots & places of interest but the
addresses of the proprietors. I think it was the sense
of the Trustees when I first came here that I
should not furnish any addresses to any persons
who desired to do any work in the Cemetery, and al-
though I at first gave the agents some encouragement
I do not, on thinking the matter over, feel at liberty to
furnish any addresses.

Any assistance that I can give Mr Black which
it is proper I should do, I shall give with pelasure.
As I have received no letters from him, I have sent
him none, leaving you as you know him, to
make such explanation as you think best. If you
think it is worth while you can consult the Pre.t

Yrs truly
J.W. Lovering
