Dear Madam

We can lay out a [small?]
lot near the gate and near to some shade trees
on either Halesia, Gerardia or Vernonia paths. The
size of this lot would be 150 sq feet (one half the
usual size) and the price of this lot finished ready
for use with corner posts, numbered, and sodded,
including also the care of the grass forever, would
be ( $435 [/100?] ) four hundred and thirty five dollars.
There are some lots a little farther from the
Entrance, of about the same size which we can
sell you for $300, and although there is not very
much shade there now, we are likely to set out
more trees this fall & next spring.
