Dear Sir

The annual average cost per
square foot of keeping the sod in order, including
top dressing and all repairs of sod on lots under the
perpetual Care of the Corporation is as follows,

Perpetual Care with Guaranty lots
(all of which are in the old Cemetery
and many of which have very steep
terraces) average of six years 1873-1878
on 96,365 square feet - 3 2/3 cents

Perpetual Care of Grass lots (mostly
on the Stone Farm, or on Althea &
Clethra paths under Landscape Lawn
restrictions) Average of three years 1876-1878
on 38,576 square feet - 2 3/8 cents

Equivalent to all average of 3 1/3 cents in any part
of the Cemetery.
