Dear Madam

About the 19^th April 1880 you
sent an order for "Care of lot including rose bushes 3⁰⁰
and top dressing $2⁰⁰. Then about April 23^rd a note
was received from you to place some white flowers in the
vase Callas & lillies for which you were charged $1⁵⁰
which makes up the bill of $6⁵⁰ as sent you.

In June a note was received with directions to plant
bush lobelia all over the grave of W^m D. Powell, and
for this a charge of $3⁵⁰ was made. By mistake the
charges were not sent all together as was intended.

I hope this will satisfactorily explain the matter.
