Miss Caroline Tewksbury
Lynn, Mass.

Dear Madam

Your postal card received ordering
myrtle planted in your lot #887. I think it best to explain
to you that myrtle is planted in perpetual care lots only
under perpetual care. That is if a myrtle grave is
ordered in an ordinary lot the charge is $7 for planting
the myrtle and caring for it one year but if the lot is
under perpetual care (as yours is) $17 is the charge and
for that sum the corporation keeps the myrtle on grave
in good condition for ever. The charge for the two graves
would therefore be $34.

Very respectfully
