Edwin H. Sampson Esq

Dear Sir

I think that
the hemlock tree on the corner of
the Wyman lot next to yours would
have to be removed to do much
good.

I think I wrote you before that
in my opinion the drip from the
vines did quite as much harm
as the tree, but tho' you wrote me
I might trim them considerably. I
thought when the vines were out more,
it could be better seen how much
harm they did.

Perhaps your best way could be
to have the gardener go to a lot
with you & trim while you were
set what would be better removed
or if you leave it to us, I
will have it attended to
as judisciously as possible

Yrs truly
