Dear Sir

In answer to
your favor of yesterday I would
say that as the tree so not
within your lot. I should desire
to consult also the wishes of the
owners of other lots near lot #3441
before taking steps for the removal
of the tree.

In my judgment the headstones are
soiled as much by some of the trees
which are more distant as by the
one which immediately overhangs and
I find it necessary to have the
headstones on lots which are under
perpetual care cleaned frequently
even when there are no trees near.

In regard to the price of a
foundation for a double tablet,
before I can speak at all definitely
I must know the size of the base stone
of the headstone. If you will let me
know that I can answer by return
mail. The foundation can be complete
within a week from time ordered
& possibly sooner.
