Dear Sirs:-

I enclose you a copy of the order received from Mrs.
Rice. There is also on file a letter from Mrs. Rice in which she
writes " I have now written to Mr. Samuel Wells of 31 Pemberton
Square to ask him to pay the bill for me ----- I am to return to
Europe ----- and must ask you to send the bill for the care of my
lot in future to Mr Wells." The date of this letter is July 29th
1888.
