Dear Sir: -

Your order on the Crosby lot is received and will have
attention. The lot will be resodded, using the present sod as far
as it will go and supplying the balance for $30.00

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Dear Sir: -

Your note to our Treasurer has been forwarded to me for
answer. I am sorry that the bill sent you for repairs to the
myrtle is not satisfactory. I have examined the charge, and do not
think it is an unfair one. The charges for repairs to myrtle
are more unsatisfactory to both sides than any other class of work we
do. If the myrtle is not in good condition in the Spring follow-
ing the repairs we are expected to make it good. In fairness to
the Corporation I do not see that any deduction could be made in
your bill, unless you are willing to take the risk of the young
myrtle going over the winter, in which case a reduction of $2.50
might be made.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.
