Honorable [?Henry?] H. [?Gil????],

Dear Sir
Your note of
yesterday in regards to fast driving
from the Cemetery is received and
will have careful attention.

From the particulars which
you have given me, I have been
able to ascertain the person at
fault, and shall take such
steps as will, I trust prevent any
such accident in the future.
Yours truly

Messrs. Lewis Jones & Son

Dear Sirs,
Complaint has
been made by the City of
Cambridge
that on last Sunday
afternoon a hearse was driven so
rapidly through the front gate, by
one of your drivers, that only with
great difficulty was a collision
avoided with a vehicle passing.

I trust it will be only necessary
to call your attention to the matter,
and to the rules of the Cemetery which
forbid fast driving within it, to
prevent any thing of the kind in the future.
Yours truly,
J. W. Lovering
Superintendant
