Dear Sir

The Thorndike lot
appears to me to be in as good condi-
tion as could be expected at this season
of the year. The adjoining lot has
been top dressed with manure, but
the Thorndike lot, as well as all other
lots under perpetual care has received
two top dressings with fertilizer, which
is considered as on the whole more
satisfactory & much neater. If,
however, it would be more satisfactory
to the owners to have manure used, I
can have some put on.
