Dear Madam:-

The fence around the Jones, Sibley and Swallow lots
is in a rusty and unsightly condition, and the lot and its sur-
roundings would be very much improved by removing it. I have just
received an order to remove the fence from one of these lots,
which will leave the Jones lot open at the side. Will you give
me your authority to remove the fence from the Jones lot, recut
four posts for the corners, cut the number of the lot on one of
them, and remove the other posts and sod over the post holes with-
out expense to you except the old material.
