[Subject: Complaint on Cost of Bulbs]

77 Newbury St

4392

Mr. J.W. Lovering,

Dear Sir
Upon inquiring at the Treasurer's
office as to the accuracy of the
enclosed bill, they referred me
to you. The amount seems
to be so exorbitant, that I
feel sure there must be a
mistake. I have had tulips
by [aceneths?] etc planted in my
garden, which if anything
is larger than the plots at
Mt Auburn, the cost of which
was only $6.00 the difference
being so great I thought I
should call your attention to
it.

Truly yrs
E.L. Henshaw
