that more land has been
enclosed than the proprietor is
entitiled to, to require him or her
to remove the fence from the land
trespassed on. They do not nec-
essarily exercise that right,
unless the trespass is injurious
to the Corporation or to some other
proprietor.

In this case, the space between
your lot and Mr Bradford's, by
reason of this Encroachment, is too
narrow at the rear end of the lots:
and I am instructed by the Committee
on Lots to notify you that
they expect the obstruction to be re-
moved. This they have the right
to require of the proprietor at his or
her own expense. Under certain
circumstances, perhaps they would
authorize it to be done at the
expense of the Corporation. I
should like to confer with you
on the subject at an early day.

Very resp.y yours
A.J. Coolidge

Boston,
Mr Wm. H. Spooner

Dear Sir,

The Trustees, this
day voted to accede to your
request so far as relates to
your resignation as Gardener
is concerned:
And that the Treas r be
authorized to cancel the
case with you upon a
full settlement of all accounts
amounts due from you to
the Corporation, and upon
a surrender, by you, in good
order, of the leased premises.

Truly yours
A. J. Coolidge
