J. V. Kettelll, Esq., Boston.

Dear Sir: -

I have examined the Amee lot and find several graves sunken and I am not sure which it is inteded to fill.

The cost of filling up any one grave and sodding will be two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50). The whole of the rear half of the lot sunken and the rough part of the granite exposed. If only the real half inside the curbing is raised, enriched and sown with grass seed the expense will be fifteen dollars ($15.00) The whole of the lot inside the granite can be regraded and enriched and sown with grass seed for thirty dollars ($30.00).

Respectfully yours,

#3856-S

Dear Sir: -

Dear Madam: -

The cost of filling and resodding the sunken places in the Carter lot will be seven dollars ($7.00). I would suggest that the cleaning of the stones be delayed until the oak stains are passed.

Respectfully yours,

Rev. Lucius R. Page, D. D. Cambridge port, Mass.

Dear Sir: -

A note was added to the card ordering care of your lot this year, asking for better care than heretofore. I have seen the lot from time to time this Spring and think that with the shade as now near the lot grass will not do well.

Respectfully yours,

[J. W. Lovering] Sup't.

R.E. Demmon, Esq.,

Boston.

Dear Sir: -

Your favor of June 9th. is received. If you wish to retain the myrtle, I see no other way than to replant it, At best it is most uncertain, and on your lot the two trees add to the difficulty It appears from the books to be four years since you paid for any repairs. The experience here is that it is a continued source of expense, and that even with considerable care the results are often unsatisfactory, so that I never advise planting myrtle, although when it is ordered, it is cared for as well as possible.

The myrtle to which I suppose you refer as being in good order, on the lots opposite to yours, is under perpetual care, and has had considerable extra expenditure to bring it into the condition it is in.

Respectfully yours,

Sup't.
