Dear Mrs. Rölvaag, --

I know that I should have sent
the interest now due. We had doctor and
hospital bills amounting to so much the
last year. That, in addition to large cuts
in salary, made the situation quite trying
I will simply have to ask you to wait till
I get my first check in the fall, and then
I will add $2.00 as compound interest
and send $15.00 instead of $13.00. Just as
soon as I possibly can I will pay off
on principal.

My wife, daughter, and I are now
staying on the farm with Mother. Mother
has lived on the same homestead for
sixty-seven years.

Kindest greetinigs to you all!

A. C. Erdahl
