Dear Mrs. Rolvaag, --

I do not wonder at that
you get a little impatient about
the loan. I do not think that
I made myself known at St. Olaf
College as one being careless about
my obligations; on the contrary I
think I was rather the opposite. I
did, however, lose many thousands
of dollars on some land I bought,
a situation that became very
trying. Of late I have been
able to make a little headway,
and I will get money for the
interest and send it sometime
this month. I would like to
go down to Northfield sometime
this summer so that I could
talk matters over.

Kindest regards from

A. C. Erdahl
