1537 East 32 Street,
Minneapolis, Minnesota,
July 22, 1941.

Dear Mrs. Rölvaag, --

I enclose a cashier's check
for $14.00 for one year interest.
I am namely owing interest since
the summer of 1938. This will
pay interest till summer of '39.
It shall be my earnest aim
when school opens to pay back-
interest as soon as I possibly
can, and to begin paying on principal.

We took a $400.00 cut in salary
again during last school year.

I had hoped to pay more now,
but expenses have been so many.

I am going down to Frost
tomorrow to stay for a few weeks.

Kindest greetings!

A. C. Erdahl

Mrs. O. E. Rölvaag
Northfield, Minnesota
