Not sure if I've correctly dealt with the ditto marks in the transcription
Need others to review transcription
JoNewell; Hi, I use 'Not Stated' where a Ditto mark is used as I'm never sure what the Ditto refers to. I think these sort of things are sorted out when the pages are sorted out at the end by Nat Arc.
Thanks Joanne - I've amended ditto marks to 'not stated' but where the entry is 'do' I've noted that.
Can anyone make out the entry in the 'transferred, discharged, died' column that seems to be three words To I B...? It appears on many pages but I can't work out what it is...

To I B... means transferred to 1st Battalion. But to save you some time and eye strain you don't have to do the second pages as they are sometimes unclear which soldier they refer to on the previous page. Nat Arch. say just mark as blank and its sorted out at their end later. Hope that helps.
