Line 3: I've removed Legend Road and reverted back to ? Rd as I don't think a Legend Road exists now or had existed then. I've checked NLS and online for mention of such a road but couldn't find anything.

r.siti

Maybe a bit of a long shot, but is it possibly Signal Box? Which might explain what the fireman struck his head on whilst look out of train?

r.siti

Line 3: after "Bethnal Green, probably ?" [house] something with "ouse at the end.

Scrumpy Geoff

Pretty sure signal post.Final call down to Mary

Scrumpy Geoff

I think it could be Lime House signal post. (Limehouse station closed in 1926)

MaryV

I agree with you Scrumpy. Lime House Signal post.

Scrumpy Geoff

Thanks, I'll go with that.

Scrumpy Geoff

Any offers for Row 4?

Scrumpy Geoff

Thanks. I'll keep trying too

Scrumpy Geoff
