This is series "S" but the names all seem to start with T

Tim Lidbetter

Line 3 - line has two parts, different dates : seems to have been a later development

Scrumpy Geoff

Yes, dyslexia problem at TNA!

Scrumpy Geoff

Line 3, yes had this before. I think that is the best you can do with it

Scrumpy Geoff

1 March looks like 1924. Can't really be 1921

Scrumpy Geoff

Leg amputated, injury slight!

Scrumpy Geoff

Insert "at" in the time even if it's not there!

Scrumpy Geoff

Row 1, definitely breaking coal

Scrumpy Geoff

Row 5 name Titshall

I think the second date for the man with the amputation is 1924, not 1921.
I am wondering if he sprained his ankle and then an infection set in.

Scrumpy Geoff

We're in agreement again!

pedroc

I thought convention for time was at 4.25 eg. Why have my times been amended to 4:25 eg ??

Scrumpy Geoff

Either is accaptable, I prefer : to avoid decimal confusion in future searches. Did I make the changes when adding "at"s which are helpful? No probs, continue with "."

pedroc

No it wasn't you. I've been following the transcription convention shown above.

Tim Lidbetter

Possibly two people inadvertently transcribing the same page at once, in which case one of them may over-write the other (not quite sure what happens - is the second one ignored, or does it over-write the first? - but clearly only one version will remain)

Scrumpy Geoff

If you do the first row and save people should realise you are working on the page

pedroc

The first person's is overwritten. Also if someone is already working on a page a blue banner appears across top pointing this out. As SG says saving should solve the problem.
