Row 7 Grade is this correct ?

Scrumpy Geoff

Not sure, several people have said Town Porter but I prefer your version

Scrumpy Geoff

Yep. You win

pedroc

Row 10 has it written in full !!

Scrumpy Geoff

I believe tonnage man and tonnage porter are different roles, but I may be wrong. Tonnage man more to do with docks?

Scrumpy Geoff

Smithfield a market. Poplar in dockland

pedroc

Yes but I'm assuming paid by quantity in both cases - like piece work in factories.

Scrumpy Geoff

Linda F you have messed up another of pedroc's pages. Please go away

Scrumpy Geoff

@pedroc, are you okay with copying your stuff from versions and pasting over this dross?

Scrumpy Geoff

Picky point but I think the tonnageman is loading, the tonnage porter carrying. Not that we'll fall out over it!

pedroc

@ScrumpyGeoff I've never needed to do it before especially not on a spread sheet. Would you mind or I can always just do the page again. No won't fall out over picky point.

Scrumpy Geoff

Leave it to me. Probably in the morning

Scrumpy Geoff

Done, hopefully okay

pedroc

Thank you
