64808 - any guesses on place of birth? Original claim form says it is in south Wales

Scrumpy Geoff

Clearly Manadivy which I think is one of the many alternative spellings for Manordeifi. Will treat it as that.

National Archives of the United Kingdom

Don't we just love those Welsh spellings.

Scrumpy Geoff

Yep, that why I always get the section featuring Evan Evans or Jenkin Jenkins!

National Archives of the United Kingdom

Too easy, we will have to change that

Scrumpy Geoff

Huh! By the way, how many more films to transcribe and what's that in sections? And do we get a prize if we complete before the copyright forms?

National Archives of the United Kingdom

You only have about 8 more to do, up to BT 124/23/3 and yes a digital thank you

Scrumpy Geoff

We're not going up to the 1930 then? We get much better prizes on copyright forms.... Katharine is very generous! Posh restaurants, spa days, cruises... the lot!
