42066 - Writing what I see - any advances? Am guessing it is Ciliau Aeron.

Hestia

42067 - Golftyn is what I see - there is a Golftyn in Flintshire and the Ancestry record shows Flint as County, plus I've found a census record for a Thomas Jones born 1806 in Golftyn, Flint. Not sure what to do about the Fife?

Hestia

Got to sign off now...will complete later unless anyone else wants to!

Scrumpy Geoff

Rare to see you out in daylight! Thanks a lot. 42067 - I suggest lose the ?s. 42066 - I agree. All yours for later.

sek

42068 is St Davids

Scrumpy Geoff

Thanks. I think Hestia is coming back to finish this page. If not I'll get stuck in this evening (Friday)

Hestia

Thanks - got here in the end! 42070 I'm taking a leap to make it Tomo - in the Ancestry certificate that's what it looks like to me and makes sense as middle name seems to be Thomas.

42068 - do I need to add anything to show that it is obliterated in the record?

Scrumpy Geoff

I think Toms if you look at his own signature on the certificate. 42068 - no pretend you were able to read it! If in doubt always go with what sek says.

Hestia

Thanks

Scrumpy Geoff

No worries. Good night. Be nice to finish the set this weekend. Don't be late!

Gosh am I getting a reputation? Definitely Toms. It is Toms in all the official records. His mother was Maria Toms before her marriage.
