weathear All hands on board bent A new main
top sail and put the old main top sail up
for A fore top sail pinted the larboard side
got of 3 tons of P fuil and ½ cord of wood and
[Entered between lines] this day sent up main top gallant yard and sail
some [saind?] &c so ends the long day
this day shiped Charles -- [Flaore?] &

the first part of this day fine weathear the
last part strongs gales from the south with
rain and heavy squales at non sent down main top gall
ant yard &c at 1 PM sent the boat on shour for [save?] the crew
decirted and the Natives came off with the boat and said &c
so ends this disagreeble day

The first part galy and A heavy see the last
part fine weathear and smoth at 5 PM the wind
shifted to the North the last part all hands
employed getting under way
so ends this long and dismal Day

All theas 24 hours strong varable winds at 3 PM took
our anchoar and went to see after A heave of About 6 hours
[caset?] by fowl chane at 6 PM put one reef in the top sailes
and handed the jibb started bread &c Brig bound to
St Mikels, for Water potatoes &c saw A no of sailes
Lat by Ob 27° 31 Long by Cro 28. 18 West by Rate 16'.27" fast
this day finished setting up [suks?] so ends this Long Day
