This Day for the most Part lite Winds and Variable from
S.E. to S.S.W. Cloudy, and quite Warm,--- Beat the Ice and
the Snow out of the Cables, and Coiled them between Decks,---
Set up the maintopgallant Riggin, Received on board from
a liter 1½ Fathoms of Wood, and from the Shore Several Small
articles for Ships use, Cleared the Decks and Sailes of a Great
quantity of Snow, the Jolly Boat with a part of the crew
on Shore the most of the Day,--- This Afternoon Capt Freeman,
and another Gentleman on board, have heard that Mr Overson
has received Counter orders not to Pay the freight of the Gothing=
bourg Voyage, but I hope too late,--- Our pilot has not made
his appearance all the Day long,---

This Day lite and Shifty Winds. Clear and Warm,---
Imployed at Sundry Jobs, Such as making Sinnit, overh
awling Riggin, Setting up Stays and Topmast Swrouds &c
Took on board 2 Barrels of Warter, the Young Man who
brought his things on board Some time ago, and took them out
on the account of the Brigs leaking bad, has brought them
on board the Second time in order to take Passage with us
This morning went on Shore to fill Warter, Spent and
bought as follows--- For Brandy 0,,2,,6,,0

Nife---3,,0,,0
Pipe--- 1,,0,,0,,0
Charity--- 0,,1,,8,,0
The Pilot came on board last evening at a late hour, and
tarried with us all nite, have not Seen him Since

all of S.S.W.--- cloudy, So ends the Day,

Sometimes blowing a Gale, Shifty, but for the most of
time at S.S.W.--- In the after Part of the Afternoon,
appearances of a Gale, Sundogs and Signs visible in the
Heavens,

a Small part of the Day, the Old

Came on Board at 6 P.M.--- All hands Imployed
at makeing SunYarn, Sinnit and other Duty,
