A GROOMING THOUGHT
Finally, remember that of all the things you wear, your expression
is the most important. Try to look and feel interested in things other
than yourself. Touch up your face with a smile. You are never fully
dressed without it.

A
GROOMING AID
FOR
BOYS
CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS

IMPORTANT (Please Read Carefully)
We are submitting this booklet as a guide to your boy's clothing. We must have our students well groomed at all times. This list is not a stationary one. We merely say look over your boy's clothing that he now has and add to it. We do not want the boys to bring expensive leather jackets and suits since "the green-eyed monster" is always present in the human race. We want them to have clothing that will take the hard wear of laundry and cleaners. We are trying to find some department stores that might help us in selecting the new fabrics of drip-dry for easy wear.
Please have your boy work out page #4 for the month of September.

There was once a time when the philosophy expressed in teh old saying "Be good, young man and let those who will be clever" seemed to work. Today's young man must be more than merely good. He must be clever enough to be good looking.
A pleasing appearance is no longer a "Happening of nature," but is a matter of such things as hygiene, nutrition, grooming and clothing.
Today we think of beauty less in terms of a Grecian profile, and moe as an over-all ensembel comprised of health, posture, weight control, mental attitude, shining cleanliness, physical poise and grace, and the color and style of dress.
