over it, which kept the
grass very short, very green-
looking like a green velvet
carpet covering it all - Lovely -
We went into the small
Opera House at 5.30 had fine
seats down front which Mally
had ordered so I could hear
well. Two [short ones?] "Ariana aux Naxos"
& "Arlecchino". The music
& singing were magnificent
and the acting wonderful - for
inspite of it being sung
in German, the tension
worked up terrifically.
We had a 75 minute
intermission, so we had
a supper in the hall arr-
