FACTS ABOUT
THE ORGANIZATION
OF THE STATION

You have been checked in and assigned to your room in
one of the hotels used by the Redistribution Station in
Asheville: the Battery Park, the Vanderbilt, the Biltmore,
or the Grove Park Inn.

The small card which was given you when you arrived is
important. Keep it. It is your meal ticket. It tells you to
which processing group you belong. When you are ready to
leave it will serve as your clearance.

You are now a member of the Casual Company at your
hotel. Your Company Officers are here to help you. Ques-
tions or gripes should be addressed to them.

In addition to being in a Casual Company, you are also
a member of a numbered group of 10 men who will be pro-
cessed as a unit. Its number is on your small card. The
schedule for your group will be published on the bulletin
board of your casual company in your hotel. It is your
responsibility to know when and where you are to appear
and to be there on time.

You will be given an orientation talk during your first
day here by the Commanding Officer of your company.
