THE PROCESSING PROGRAM
Asheville Auditorium. The processing section of the station occupies the lower level of this building.
The Redistribution Station processing which you will receive before your departure divides itself into six parts:
(1) The Education and Information Division wil give you a program of approximately seven hours during your stay here. It will consist of talks and movies on the progress of the war, the GI Bill of Rights, Current Events, and operations in the several theaters of war. Special emphasis si given in this program to probable postwar problems. These lectures will be held at the Vanderbilt Hotel.
(2) You will be given a careful physical examination. This will be accomplished before your assignment interview so that the classification officers will be able to consider your physical conditio nwhen recommending your new assignment. The Medical Department is on the ground floor of the Battery Park Hotel.
