are a disgrace to themselves and to the Army. Keep well-dressed and salute when you should. Keep your brass shined and your ties tied. Take care of the furniture and fixtures in your room while you are here. They are in good condition and we want to keep them that way for the next returnee. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose by observing these things which are the marks of good soldiers. The future operation of this station depends on you. If you behave like gentlemen, the men who are to follow you here will benefit. If you do not, they will suffer.

He will give you week-end passes to visit nearby poitns of interest if you so desire. You will be issued the clothing and equipment allowed under existing regulations. Show your identification card when you enter your dining room. It is the intention of this station to serve you the best meals possible. The total fixed expense for your wife will be about $25.00 if you remain ten days. When your orders come through assignign you to your new station, you will take your clearance card properly filled out to your rail transportation officer in the lower level of the Auditorium. He will give you your transportation request and your reservation. Your bags will be taken to the station for you and checked to your destingation.
