Subj: MAULDIN, James M. (200-858) M.M.1c; request for transfer.

1. I request a transfer to preferred duty at Morehead City, N.C.
either shore duty or a C.G. Reserve Boat.

2. I have been attatched to this unit since it was commissioned
in November of 1941, and if I must remain on a 83 ft. boat, I would like
it to be in Morehead City, N. C.

3. I have had four years of continuous [???] duty on various Coast Guard
vessels namely the Sebago, Carrebassert, and my present ship the CG-83312,
and I think I deserve consideration for the request I am making.
