October ye 18th in ye year of our Lord 1693 In ye name of God amen
Elizabeth Crosland now being weak in body but of perfect minde & memory
but hopeing to injoy the Sweet felicity of heavenly Angels in ye world to
come first & foremost I bequeath my Soul to god that gave it me and my body
to ye earth from where it came to be decently buried Secondly after my decease
and debts paid I do & give to my loving father Richard Stivell so ever doth
belong to me in this world. to be at his owne disposing now this being my last
will & testament

We being certifyed of the proofe of the abovewritten Will of Elizabeth
Crosland decd. Doe hereby impower the above menconed Rich Stivell to adminis=
ter upon all and singular ye Goods Chattells & Creditts of the sd Eliz Crosland of
what nature or quality soever wherever in this Governmt to be found and the
Same to be dispose of as by the sd Will is appointed. Given under our hands
and seal of ye County the 12th day of July Ano Dni 1694

Albemarle In ye name of God amen I Thomas Muns being sic & weake in
body but in sound & perfect memory doe revoke all wills & testamts by me made and
make this my last will & testamt in maner & forme as followeth I give & bequeath
my Soul unto God That gave it me and to my Saviour Jesus Christ who hath redeemed
it and my body to ye earth to be buried according to ye discretion of my executrix here
after menconed hopeing at ye day of judgemt to receive full pardon & remission for
all my sins from my creatour & redeemer & as for that estate it hath pleased
God to bestow upon me after all my just debts are paid I bestow as followeth I
doe make all ye Small estate that I have to my dearest & loving wife Anne Mons
and ye sd Anne Mons is to keep her two Children till they come to age Witnes
my hand & seal ye 5th of January 1693
