I James Fwox being well both in mind body & health
praise to God for the Same but Considering the uncertanty
of this fraile & mortall life & being Willing to dispose
of the worldly Stuff wch: God hath blest me wth: & to Settle
my other Worldly Affairs doe give and bequeath my Soul
to God [crossed out word (who)] ^(which) gave it & my body to the Earth to be buried
According to that Decency as my Execrs hereafter named
Shall think meet and Convenient do hereby Constitute
& appoint this my last will & testamt: revoking &
Disanul all other will & testaments whatever Call or written
Imprimis I give & bequeath unto my Son Robt: Fweox all
the cattle wch: he hath in his own possession wth one black breeding
Mare known by the Name of Spright
& all the land wch he now lives Upon from a Slash lying on
the South side of his now dwelling house running Northly to
to a place Called Selps his Swamp to him & his heirs for
Ever Item I give and bequeath unto John Lawson
one young horse Branded wth: J F upon the near Buttock
& I do farther give and bequeath unto him one hundred
Acres of Land be the Same more or less wth: these bounds
Vizt: from a place Called Mahomets Swamp to Wm Hardys
Line Item I Give & bequeath unto Mary Lawson Junr:
one young Mare Branded on the near Buttuck wth J F
& one eco: Item I do give & bequeath unto Samll Hardy
Son of Wm Hardy one two year old heifer Item I doe
give & bequeath unto my Wife Anne Fweox five pounds
yearly during her naturall life Item I doe give and
bequeath [crossed out word] the Plantation I do now live upon unto
Mary Lawson Widdow & Relict of Nathll: Lawson
during her Naturall Life & whome I do nominate
& Appoint my Executrix & to whome I leave all my
whole Estate bothe Real & personlly Excepting the Above
mentioned Legacys & the lands & plantation
wch I now live upon after her Deceas I doe give
& bequeath the Same to my Son Robert Fweox
& his heirs for Ever & by Default of Male heirs
