Honey Boy:-

Just think only seven weeks until this is over. I can count the days. We are beginning to get down to business now. Had a big discussion over the State Salary Bill. Your friend Baxter Durham got a big lift.

I am going with Mrs. Griffin and Mrs. Everett to a tea at Judge Bigg's in honor of Mrs. Lock Craig. It is very rainy looking to day.

I introduced the Bill for Privacy in Voting that the League of Women Voters wanted.

I am on Election Committee and Judiciary No 1. They read out New Committees every day.

I hope to have a chance to talk to Mr. Roberts before he leaves. He asked me to vote for the Salary Bill. I had a little talk with Mr. Martin. I hope the Street Car rate will

not be raised.

Mr. Young and I went for a little walk this afternoon. He finds the time heavy, and misses his wife and baby. He wrote her today that I was the finest girl he ever knew.

The Gentleman from Wilkes fought the Salary Bill.

Take good care of my boy, and see that nothing happens to him.

I love you darling and want to see you so much.

Lovingly Exum

P.S. Please call and see if Mr. Purefoy is going to send my medicine, something for acids. Ex
