Description: Second of two bound volumes containing correspondence written by Robert B. House of Halifax County, N.C., while he was serving in World War I in Europe in Machine Gun Company, 103rd Infantry, 26th Infantry Division. Also contains correspondence written while House was a training officer at Camp Gordon, Georgia, and after the war when he served as the World War Records Collector for the North Carolina Historical Commission.
