dream world but am blessed with happy memories and contentment
with the present that makes the future more marvelous than even the past.
For what would such memories be, my darling, were they forced up with
a wonderment of the now, and weren't kept alive with a smile
about this or a chuckel in cadence with a bobbling little head, nose
in the air, mouth pouting into a smile of its own (later - ten or twelve
beats) but driving home its lesson and more love into my heart?

liveing day by day like the shivering pup who knows no better, for I
know only the happiness we give each other, and here or there that
never leaves me.

I will answer some of your questions in another letter,
suggest blue-black for the car if available, and try to have a
little news to include. But tonight my thoughts are sentimental
and disjuncted as those of a prospective bridegroom of six years past
should be.

Good night, Presh dear. I love you.
