My darling Wife,

Today we had
mail call and I did
alright. Received exceptionally
long letters from both
Irene & Ella, one from
Mother and three from
you, #85, 93 and 103.

Seems that
Charles is in pretty bad
shape and I'm certainly
sorry to hear it. Irene's
letter was over two type
written pages. Not much
news but a nice letter.
Ella's letter repeated
quite a bit. Said Ella Mae
