following day. So happened
he came into town that
night and caught me at
the office between shifts
of guard. It was a pleasant
surprise and we had at
least a hour of gossip.
Hope we will be seeing
more of each other. He looks
very well and to me hasn't
changed a bit. I didn't
mention this in the V-mail
yesterday because I wanted
to tell mom about it. I'll
certainly have to get off
a letter to the Thorntons.

We have a more or less
settled down to a routine
so there isn't much news
I can give along that line.
