been most interesting at times to seem
to "feel the pulse of the nation at the
heart of its government". And because
of this, I expect to make many
visits from time to time far into the
future to see how the "strings" are
tied and where they are pulling the
affairs of Washington.

It has been a pleasant trip so
far. I am looking forward to the
news that will speed me on my return
to see you. That will be a happy day, indeed.
