I have the honor of enclosing to you a Certified Copy of a Resolution of this Society constituting you an Ex-Officio Member thereof and to request your acceptance of the [forms?]; and also by this mark I forward to your address for the files of your Society a printed Copy of the Proceedings which took place at the First Meeting of the Soceity.

Anxious of availing ourselves of the expenence of the Royal Society we would esteem it as a special favour conferred on us if you [need?] at an early day Communicate to us - as fully and may be in your [past?] all the information which your Society may have obtained in aid of our mutually benevolent objects in the Cause of
