The Minutes of the previous meeting having been read and approved

1 The President reported that on the 10th Inst he had by invitation of the Pennsylvania Society, attended the distribution of prizes to children in the Academy of [illegible] in Phildelphia, and had delivered an address to them. The affair was a very grand success in all respects.

2 Produced letter from Dr. Meredith Clymen, in reference to the claim of Dr. Hogan for services alleged to have been rendered by the latter gentleman to the late Mr. Louis Bonard, in St Vincents Hospital

Upon motion, the further consideration of this matter was postponed.

3 Reported the conviction of [illegible] G Carpenter the [illegible] Street Dog fighter. He had plead "Guilty" and [illegible] [Hackett?]
