The only right we would like to reserve would be its reproduction in bronze ; there is , however , no prospect of this at present .

A New York architect suggested your building as the most fitting place for such a subject , ( that of the Great Dane dog ) and for that reason, and because it will only cost the Society the expressage from Budworth & Son, West 52nd Street , to your building, we venture to present it.

The photograph sent by mail shows the relief before it was cast in plaster , and before the irons were removed.

On motion of Gen. Wilson, duly seconded, the matter was referred to the President, with power to accept the gift.

On motion of Gen. Wilson, duly seconded, the action of the President in issuing an appeal for funds was approved.

In the absence of the Treasurer, the President reported a cash balance on hand of $2,640.23.

The report of the Superintendent covering the period from November 17th to December 14th, inclusive, was read and ordered placed on file.
