At 6 P.M wore ship to south. Tookl
in light sails. Midle [MIDDLE] part stearing
the same. Latter part stearing N. West.
So ends this day in Lat [LATITUDE] 01 07 179 07 E [EAST]

Sund [SUNDAY]
Sep [SEPTEMBER] 27th
First part light winds. Ship stearing to
N.N. West. At 6 P.M took in light
sails and courses. Stearing the same.
Latter part wore ship to south. Saw
three sails stearing to north,. Saw
blackfish. So ends Lat [LATITUDE] 00 06 177 56

Mond [MONDAY]
Sep [SEPTEMBER] 28th
First part stearing or wore ship
to North. Saw a finback. Midle [MIDDLE] part
and latter stearing to North. At noon
spoke ship Othello. Capt. [CAPTAIN] Beckerman
and family spent the afternoon
onboard the Cary in Lat [LATITUDE] 00 30 177 50

Tuesd [TUESDAY]
Sep [SEPTEMBER] 29th
First part stearing the same in
company with ship Othello. Middle
part and latter stearing to South.
At 9 AM Capt [CAPTAIN] Winslow and family went
onboard ship Othello to spend the
day. So ends in Lat [LATITUDE] 00 39 N [NORTH] 177 50

Wedns [WEDNESDAY]
Sep [SEPTEMBER] 30th
First part stearing to south. Light airs
from E.S. East. Midle [MIDDLE] part and latter
part stearing to N. East. Emploid [EMPLOYED] mend
maintopsail. So end Lat [LATITUDE] 1 04 176 56

Thurs [THURSDAY]
Octover 1st
First part moderate trads [TRADES]. Ship stearing
N. East. All sail by the wind. Midle [MIDDLE] part
stearing the same. Latter part
at 9 AM wore ship to south.
Emploid [EMPLOYED] mending the foresail
