is so soon going to school, when he cannot
use it it will be a mistake to ask for
it, and for any shooting he may do a shot
gun would be far better. This is not a very
interesting letter, but when I have been a week
in a place there is little left to say. It is only
by frequent change of scene, or by mingling with
other people than the material for letters accumulates -
